What do you like about being a financial services professional?
I find it incredibly rewarding to help others achieve their goals and work towards financial independence. From an ethical perspective, I love working for a fee-only NAPFA firm, which enables me to act as a fiduciary without conflicts of interest.
What are your goals for your clients?
I believe in the phrase “a goal without a plan is just a dream”. So my goal for my clients is to create a plan that is in their best interest and enables them to feel confident and secure in their finances.
What experience and credentials do you have?
I am a Certified Financial Planner® Candidate with almost 10 years of experience in financial analysis and budgeting. Additionally, I hold an MBA from the University of Maryland, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude, and a BS in Finance (also Magna Cum Laude) from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
What community organizations do you support or belong to?
Through my church, Highrock Malden, I am a leader in the finance ministry. I am also proud to be the captain of a championship winning bocce team through Major League Bocce Pittsburgh.
Can you give us a glimpse of your personal life?
I grew up in Western Pennsylvania but moved up and down the east coast after college. Though I lived for several years in Maryland and Boston, I held true to my love of the Steelers! My husband and I enjoy playing with our golden retriever, Alpha, and entertaining all the neighborhood dogs (and their humans) in our Squirrel Hill home.
